Race Day Information

  • The information below is very important; please take the time to read it.

    Contestants should arrive at the race no later than 1 hour 30 minutes on Saturday and 1 hour beforehand on Sunday 

    Please make sure you find your RACE NUMBER from the link below for check-in on the day (you will check-in with your RACE NUMBER).

    GETTING HERE

    If you are following a Sat. Nav. please use the postcode RH5 4RP to navigate to the location. Our address is Swires Farm, Henfold Lane, Dorking.

    VEHICLE PARKING

    There is a parking fee of £5.00 per vehicle. Parking opens at 7.30am on Saturday and 7am on Sunday. Your patience on arrival when parking would be appreciated. Parking will take a while so please bear with the parking staff as they get you parked safely.

    CHECK-IN

    On arrival please head for the ADMINISTRATION MARQUEE.

    CLOTHING

    NO METAL SPIKES
    Trainers (please make sure your laces are tied tightly). Wear fast-drying breathable fabric. Bring a change of clothing/ footwear and a towel.

    CHANGING ROOM/SHOWERS

    There are separate male and female changing marquee. We have very basic cold showers, expect queuing. Please bring a towel and a change of clothing along with 2 bin bags to store your dirty clothing.

    FREE KEY DROP

    There is a staffed key drop area where you can leave your keys when you are off on the challenge. Please leave other valuables in your car; the car park is manned by staff all day.

    FREE BAG DROP

    An area is available for you to leave your bags; however, this bag drop is un-manned so please leave only non-valuable items. Please do not leave money, cards, keys or phones etc.

    TIMING CHIP

    The race will be chip-timed; please attach this securely to your trainer laces. Failure to return your chip after the race will result in a £5 charge.

    BIB NUMBER

    You will be provided with a stick-on race number (with additional body tags for photographic recognition), luggage label and sports tattoos in your race pack. The race number needs to go on the FRONT of your top, this helps our photography and staff teams identify you. The luggage label is to to be placed through your bag handle(s) like airport check-in and the race number tattoos should be stuck to your hand or forehead. This is an additional measure to identify you if you lose your bib number.

    FOOD AND DRINK

    Food and drink stall will be in the Event Village location.

    WHAT TO EXPECT

    Lots of crawling on your hands and knees and climbing up river banks and cargo netting. We have lots of obstacles so if you are not sure that you can tackle an obstacle please walk around and go on to the next one.

    REFUELLING

    Any contestants doing multiple laps can bring snacks and energy drinks for when they lap back round. These can be left at the refuel station next to the finishing line.

    MULTIPLE LAPPERS

    You must on your final lap by 1pm on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday

    SPECTATORS

    Friends, family and children can come along and watch. Dogs are also welcome provided they are on a lead.

    FIRST AID

    We have separate male and female medical tents. The onsite medical team are ‘Want Medical’. We also have volunteers from Surrey Search and Rescue.

    REFUNDS & DEFERMENTS

    Please note we do not offer refunds. However, you can defer your place for a £20 charge. Please contact [email protected]. The final date to complete this is Wednesday 1st March 2017.

    Transfer to another person
    We can complete name transfers – the charge for this is £10 and a request will need to be emailed to before the event on [email protected].

    SUSSEX SPORTS PHOTOGRAPHY

    A team of photographers will be onsite to capture your Nuttie moments check the gallery after the challenge.
